    President
    Elisabetta Papagni, from Puglia, always close to the musical environment, is the flywheel of the Foundation, born for the express wish of the great pianist Aldo Ciccolini, in which she combines her great passion for music with managerial and international skills acquired working and living for 14 years in London, New York, Miami, Toronto and Rome as an official in charge of the international services of a leading Italian banking institution. She is Rotarian, MBA at the Law firm of the L. Bocconi University of Milan, specialized in "FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT" at New York University, graduated in Law at the University of Bari. As President of the "European Arts" Foundation Academy Aldo Ciccolini ", has organized international events such as the complete concert of piano and orchestra by S. Rachmaninoff " Jora "philharmonic orchestra of Bacau - Romania, Director Ovidio Balan, pianists of the Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia in Rome in 2014. She closely follows all relations with foreign musical Institutions, guaranteeing the Foundation a dimension that is in line with its objectives. In 2016 she has been awarded a Gold Medal by MAISON DES ARTISTES - Rome - “For the great professionalism shown as President of the Foundation entitled European Arts Academy “Aldo Ciccolini ” in Trani. In 1991, she was co-founder of the Italian-American Chamber of Commerce in Miami. She is Rotarian.

  • Pierluigi Camicia
    Vice President
    Pierluigi Camicia, a native of Apulia, Italy, began piano study at the age of five. In 1962, at the age of ten, he won First Prize in the prestigious national competition "ENAL" at La Spezia.ANd at the age of 21 won the most important Italian piano Competition: Città di Treviso. Mr. Camicia, a Busoni and Chopin competition prizewinner, became professor at the Bari Conservatory at the age of 20. He has already produced a generation of notable piano students, including Benedetto Lupo, prizewinner in the Van Cliburn Piano Competition in Forth Worth. Mr Camicia devotes himself primarily to solo performances, and his artistry has been commented enthusiastically by Rostropovich, Ciccolini, Vasary and Franco Ferrara, but has also gained notoriety in Europe as a chamber musician, playing with the cellist Michael Flaksman and the violinist Nina Beilina, the flutist Angelo Persichilli. His association with Michael Flaksman dates to 1982; they have performed together in European Festivals and in U.S.A. and they have recorded the music of Faurè in a CD of ABEGG. He played with Orchestras conducted by Gabriele Ferro, Samuel Friedman, Tamas Gal, Gabriele Gandini, Mario Gusella, Massimo Biscardi, Michele Marvulli etc in the most important Italian and European Theatres, and in China.

    Pianist renowned for innate virtuosity and skills and sophisticated stylistic knowledge, ALFONSO SOLDANO is born in 1986, and in young age reaches the Distinguished Degree with Honor Mention in Piano Performance at Conservatory “ N. Piccinni “ in Bari. His mentors during all over his artistic growth were Aldo CICCOLINI, Pierluigi CAMICIA. He obtained also the High Performance Diploma in National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, under Benedetto LUPO. Mr. Soldano has classified first in lot of piano competitions and is invited as Artist and Juror in Italy and all over Europe. He helds masterclass all over Italy and was awarded with International Gold Medal Prize for Best Italian Artist in April 2013, with a large ceremony in University’s “La Sapienza”(Rome) Great Hall. In particular he was involved in production of Integral of Rachmaninov’s works for piano and orchestra, since when he was 17 with Bacau Philarmonic Orchestra. He worked with conductors like O.Balan, D.Frandes, M.Cormio, V.Zhadko, and played with a lot of orchestras, italian and foreign. Artist recognized for his deep and special sound and breathtaking virtuosity, one of best italian talents of his generation, Mr. Soldano can count on large repertoire for solo and concertos with orchestra. Mr. Soldano has appeared in a lot of festivals and concerts, such Musikum Salzburg, Hindemith Foundation Switzerland, G.Enescu Festival Bucarest, Bacau, Kiev (Concert Hall of Tchaikovsky National Academy, Philarmonie) lot of italian universities (Rome”La Sapienza”, Bari) and recital in lot of major cities (Rome Auditorium Parco della Musica,Milan,Verona, Bologna, Foggia, various theaters). As writer he published for Florestano Edizioni,first world’s biography of Ukrainian composer Sergej Bortkiewicz. Mr Soldano is involved since long time in piano duo with pianist Stefania Argentieri, and is also active as a concert transcriber, (MusePress, Japan, Florestano Edizioni, Italy). He is ending the publishing of a large piano set of concert transcriptions for two pianos, with Florestano Edizioni. The great pianists that have listened him, have always highlighted the particular interpretative maturity of his performances, result of continuous insights into the history of piano technique and interpretation. Mr Soldano is Academic Professor of Piano Performance at Conservatory U.Giordano in Foggia, and has been already Professor in S.Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, as well in Conservatories of Teramo, Taranto, Lecce. He is Artistic Director of Foundation European Arts Academy “Aldo Ciccolini” in Trani. Mr. Soldano is Divine Artist (only Italian) and records for USA major label Divine Arts Recordings Group. His Cds are recognized 5 stars from major USA’s magazines (American Record Guide, Fanfares) and Other 15 countries Magazines all over the world. His last Cd, Solo piano works by Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco, was selected in Florida on best Classical CDs of 2017. Upcoming release a Cd in Summer 2019 dedicated to solo piano works by Rachmaninov.

    Cinzia Falco graduated in Piano, was then perfected in Rome under the guidance of Sergio Perticaroli. She has actively and fruitfully devoted herself as a Distinguished Piano Professor in Italian State Music Conservatories, such as Rodi Garganico, Foggia, Cosenza, Matera, and Bari. For several years she has been the Fiduciary Manager of the Trani Branch of the Bari State Music Conservatory. Since its foundation, she has been the Artistic Director of the "Domenico Sarro", a leading Cultural Music Association. She is Artistic Director and organizer of the "Città di Trani" International Piano Competition, taking part in the jury alongside world renowned artists such as Lazar Berman, Maria Tipo, Marcello Abbado, Marco Fumo, Bruno Canino, Valfrido Ferrari, Paola Bruni, Pierluigi Camicia, Chia Chou, Paolo Bordoni, Riccardo Risaliti, Peter Lang, Einar Stein Nokleberg, Sergio Perticaroli, Joaquim Soriano, Perfecto Garcia Chornet, Masamichi Tzuzuchi, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Riccardo Risaliti, Luigi Fait, John O'Conor, Adam Harasiewicz, Warren Thomson, etc. with the Orchestras of Province of Bari, Foggia Capitanata, Conservatory of Bari, Magna Graecia and Bacau Philarmonica Orchestra. She was leading Professor of piano performance within the International Courses of Specialization organized by the Municipality of Norcia. She established the "Sarro Musici" Youth Symphony Orchestra, formed by over 50 young musicians, conducted under the expert baton of Maestro Giuseppe Pannarale. She has been awarded for special artistic recognitions receiving the Silver Cathedral in Trani and the Gold Metal Prize "Maison des Artistes" at the "La Sapienza" University Hall - Rome.

    Oboist graduated at the "N.Piccinni" Italian State Music Conservatories of Bari under the guidance of Maestro Domenico Sarcina and with a special degree in Chamber Music at the same Music Institute. For several years she followed Courses as Primo Oboe under the guidance of M ° Alberto Negroni during the International Musical Perfectional Courses organized at the Municipality of Norcia. She is also specialized in Didactics with Professor Maurizio Spaccazocchi, Ciro Paduano and Sabine Oetterli. She followed the composition courses for children with Maestro Remo Vinciguerra. She is First Oboe and English Horn of the " Youth Symphony Orchestra” "I Sarromusici". From 2007 to 2010 she was Oboe in the N. Piccini Italian State Music Conservatories in Bari. She is winner of several National Competitions as an Oboist. She supervised the preparation of musical performances and musical tales with live music performances with the use of choral and instrumental groups. He recorded Celestina Masotti's music for "It's Rights" in Milan and the second CD is coming out.
